Fossil Set History:

Released on October 10, 1999, by Wizards of the Coast, the Fossil Set expanded the original Pokémon TCG with additional Kanto region favorites.
This set debuted powerful and rare Pokémon, including Gengar and Dragonite, and introduced the Fossil theme that linked ancient Pokémon to modern times.
It followed the Base Set and Jungle expansions, with many Fossil cards holding higher median values than the previous Jungle set due to their popularity among fans and collectors.

Mint - Near Mint (NM): These cards exhibit minimal wear from shuffling, play, or handling. They feature a nearly unmarked surface, crisp corners, and unblemished edges, with only a few slight flaws permitted.

Lightly Played (LP): Cards in this condition may show minor border or corner wear, along with small scuffs or scratches. There are no major defects, such as grime, bends, or issues affecting the card's structural integrity. Noticeable imperfections are acceptable, but they should not be severe or excessive. Cards classified as Lightly Played may have a few minor imperfections, but overall, they maintain good condition.
